 It is well established that many Americans and individuals throughout the world had varying opinions related to the COVID-19 vaccines. It is also well established that minority communities received fewer vaccine vials, less education on the virus and vaccines, and ultimately fewer inoculations. As such, increasing the level of education and inoculations in minority communities is of critical importance and has been added to the initiative.

 Imagine that you have been asked by the American Ad Council to join a team to produce a public service announcement (PSA) that would either help minority adults ages 19 to 50 who are aware of the vaccine but refuse to be inoculated, or would increase minority community education on the severity of the COVID-19 virus and the important role the vaccine serves in protecting the community. Using a fear appeal approach coupled with the precaution adoption process model (PAPM), design a PSA. 

 You will create a two- to three-page storyboard using the attachments for this assignment  to cover the highlights of your proposed PSA. You do NOT have to produce the video.  

 

In your storyboard,

Analyze your approach in terms of what theoretical constructs you are trying to affect.

Analyze the stages of the PAPM your target audience is in.

Assemble and describe the activities and messages that would be implemented to create effective behavior change.

Explain a rationale for your choices.

 Must use four governmental sources (CDC, HIN, etc.) that discuss the issue within the last 5 years. I will check to make sure this was done.

 Must include an introduction and conclusion paragraph. Your introduction paragraph needs to end with a clear thesis statement that indicates the purpose of the assignment
