For your second response paper you will be reading the Big Letdown

 Response Paper 2: The Big Letdown.

For your second response paper you will be reading the Big Letdown by Kimberly Seals Aller and writing a book review.  Your review should be 3-5 pages double spaced, 12 point Font, Times New Roman.  You do not need to include a cover page with this assignment.  

This assignment is worth 7 points.  I am looking for high quality writing and an in depth critique of  the text.

Your review of the book should be broken into 3 specific parts.

1. A short summary of the text.  What was covered, what information was given, who was it written for, how is it useful?2. A critical assessment of the text.  How did you respond to what you read?  What was provided in the text that is essential for public knowledge? What is the impact to the public if they do not have access to this information?  What information may have been misconstrued or taken out of context, what might be the impact of this?3. Personal impact.  How does reading this text directly impact you?  What might you do differently in your own life based on knowing this information?
