 Parker Baker 28-year-old male in the hospital after a fall. Parker is in graduate school studying microbiology and planning to go to medical school. He drinks beer and vodka every night, even blacking out sometimes. Taylor is his 3-year girlfriend. Parker has serious drinking problems and hangovers often, off-balance at times. As a result of this behavior, he misses school. The school wants to kick him out. When Parker is drunk, he is verbally and physically aggressive. Parker has yellowing of sclera and did not remember that he fell and was being interviewed during his discharge.

Reflection notes: What      would you do differently with this client if you could conduct the session      over? Also include in your reflection a discussion related to      legal/ethical considerations (demonstrate critical thinking beyond      confidentiality and consent for treatment!), health promotion and disease      prevention taking into consideration patient factors (such as age, ethnic      group, etc.), PMH, and other risk factors (e.g., socioeconomic, cultural      background, etc.).
