Ephesians may have the next most significant development of Paul’s theology after Romans and Galatians. The study of Ephesians will help the student to develop a clearer understanding of the uniqueness of Paul’s gospel of grace and the unique characteristics of his theology. Colossians brings in added elements of early church heresies and Paul’s response to these teachings. Philippians is the most personal of Paul’s letters and shows a different side of Paul’s character, while remaining theologically important.
