The report should:

a) Describe the tourism development goals of the country or region;

b) Identify the levels in planning hierarchy (the government bureaucracies, private consultants, private developers, etc) interested in these goals;

c) Indentify relevant government policy to implement these goals and to increase (or decrease) the tourism capacity of the country or region (incentives, controls, environmental impact assessments, etc);

d) Identify the causes of any problems in tourism development in the country or region; and

e) cite specific readings relevant to tourism development planning in Hall, CHAPTER 1).
