Compare the information that you find on the company’s culture to Exhibit 3-4 (pg. 48) in your text books. Through your research does the company seem to have a strong or a weak culture? Explain by providing examples.
Provide recommendations as to the ways in which your company’s managerial decisions can be affected by culture by using Exhibit 3-6 (pg. 51) as a guideline. Make sure to reference and relate the recommendations to the topic of ethics by using Exhibit 3-7 (pg. 52).
Provide recommendations on the ways in which the company can create a culture that supports diversity, which is such an important aspect of Kuwaiti culture to unite people on good values. Please use the discussion of diversity on pages 54-55 in your textbooks.
Provide information on the relation between the company’s environment and culture by using Exhibit 3-9 (page 57). Define and provide examples on the external environment of your company in the following two major categories:

Define the decisions that managers in your company may need to make as they plan, organize, lead, and control by using Exhibit 6-5 (pg. 132) as a guide.
Explain the difference between programmed decisions versus nonprogrammed decisions. Provide five examples of programmed decisions and nonprogrammed decisions that your company may make.
Foundations of Planning (Chapter 7)
Use the steps in goal setting (pg. 159) to set goals for your company
Once you have your goals established, develop a plan for the company or discuss the plan that you have found through your research. Use the information in the textbook on types of plans (pg. 155-157) and use Exhibit 7-1 (pg. 156) as your guide in answering this section. (for example: what is an example of a strategic plan, operational plan, etc).

Use Exhibit 9-2 (pg. 200) as a guide as you research the forms of departmentalization that is used by the company OR propose the form of departmentalization that would best suit the company. Note: discuss the levels of work specialization that are most effective to the nature of the business.
Discuss the current organizational structure of the company using Exhibits 9-3, 9-4, and 9-5 (pgs. 202-204)
Propose an organizational structure for your company and justify the reasons as to why you have recommended that structure. Discuss whether you have recommended an organic vs a mechanistic structure using Exhibit 9-5 (pg. 205)
Managing Human Resources (Chapter 10)
Using your research, formulate recommendations for the human resources department of your company. Use exhibit 10-2 (pg. 221) as a guide for your answer
Discuss the selection tools that you have found through your research that your company uses, or formulate recommendations of the tools that your company should use for company recruitment. Use exhibit 10-6 as you answer this section.
Discuss the types of training that you have found your company does for their employees or propose types of training by using exhibit 10-7 (pg. 230).
Managing Change and Innovation (Chapter 12)
Using your research, what types of innovation does your company apply? Please indicate how managers may apply change in (see exhibit 12-3 p.277); Structure, Technology and People.
Explain why some people or systems may resist changing.
