Activity Description
After completing this course, you have decided to become an entrepreneur. You have a product in mind you want to manufacture. You have also developed a good business plan and are sure you will have no problem with financing. Write a paper to:
•Fully describe the features of the product.
•Analyze the manufacturing stages of your product.
•Assess operations concepts and the supply chain process until the product reaches the customer.
•Evaluate the various stages in an effort to fine tune them to assure quality product and delivery. Please do not forget items such as resources, labor and their costs.
•Compare and contrast your product and plans with a similar product manufactured by a Fortune 500 company.
Support your paper with at least seven (7) resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.
Length: 12-15 pages (not including title and reference pages).
