Complete a 2 day food plan for your athlete. Day 1 should be when the athlete is in training. Day 2 should be when the athlete is not in training. You should include a nutritional analysis of your two days to provide verification that your meal plans meet the dietary standards for your sport and athlete. These dietary analyses can be included in the report as an appendix to the report.
Your meal plan should include the use of any nutrition supplements you would recommend, if any
1. The student will create 2 meal plans based on the criteria above. DAY 1 and DAY 2 – include 3 meals and 3 snacks, or indicate why you are recommending your particular meal plan. You must include a dietary analysis of your 2 days of meal plans. This dietary analysis can be completed using software from other NS courses you have taken, or – you may use the governmental website: www.choosemyplate.gov Print out the analysis and include it as an appendix to this portion of the assignment. Label the training day as DAY 1 and Label the non-training day as DAY 2.
Your report should also meet the following criteria:
1. The student successfully defends their plan regarding nutrient loading with their athlete.
2. The student correctly implements (or does not implement) the supplements into their dietary plan.
3. The student selects good sources of fat, carbs and proteins in their meal plan for their athlete and sport.
