¨Understand the desired skills and how they relate to class room and home
¨Identify and discuss two to three strategies for teaching the skill to children in class room
¨Parents need to know how to utilize the strategies to reinforce the desired ability at home
¨Identify and describe a resource for the parents to use to continue their learning at home
Children between the ages 3-5 years old need a lot of guidance and attention from parents and teachers. This is also a stage where children should be assisted in developing various skills that are essential in life. For this reason , family centered approach is advised.

¨The skill enable the child to acquire various skills to tackle several challenges
¨They will solve their own challenges at home and school
These are skills that enable them acquire more skills to tackle more challenges that come as they grow up
¨Letting children do their little task and avoid being there to help them all the time.
Allowing children to solve their problems little as they may be like playing and getting different objects for play. Let them get them for themselves
(Collins, Laursen & Hartup, 1999).
¨Teach them how to be independent.
Make them learn slowly that they are forever responsible for their actions and themselves.
