You are working with PHP (Hyper Preprocessor), a general-purpose server-side scripting language that allows you to add a lot of function to your pages with very little overhead. However, PHP is not the only scripting language available to you, and server-side scripting is not the only means to add functionality. Your assignment is to research and compare 3 scripting languages and submit a 1-page paper detailing the results of your research. Some factors to consider:
1. Does this scripting language have the capabilities I will want to use in my project?
2. Is this language supported by the browsers my visitors are likely to be using?
3. Is this a difficult language to work with?
4. Does it execute on the server side or the client side of the interaction?
5. Does it require anything to be installed on either side?
6. What is it going to cost me?
