Case study
liam is 3 years old, he was born while his mum was serving time for selling illegal substances, it wasnt for the first time she had been in prison in fact she had been in and out of various institutions her whole life as she was given up for adoption by her mum at the age of 3 because of the same issues.
liam dosent know his extended family and dosent see any other adults or children than his mum or sometimes men who come to the flat. he is always put in the bathroom when they come- it is cold in the bathroom as two of the windows have been smashed and not repaired properly, and the radiators dont work, liams mum alison cant afford to keep using little fan heater as she says the meter eat all her money and there will be no pennies for chips or sweets if she puts the heater on.
liam often has a cold and has been in hospital with pneumonia, both he and his mum have ashtma. sometimes liams mum falls asleep and dosent wake up for a long time and so liam is hungry, even his crying dosent wake her up, sometimes liam feels scared.
