There are four functions (or cyclic steps) of management in today’s healthcare organization described in this week’s readings.  Choose one that you believe is most relevant in your health care organization, or that you are most familiar with.  Describe the function and how it is utilized to enhance the role and function as a healthcare manager.  What is the manager’s responsibility in carrying out the function?  Why do you believe this function enhances the role of the manager?
