Also, there is no substantial literature review present with this assignment Research question The research question for this study is whether or not there exists ethnic disparity when it comes to meeting the needs for alcoholism, drug abuse and mental health care. Note that the data collection should be specific enough that the reader knows exactly what will be done. The reader should be able to conduct the study with your instructions. Include time periods, sample sizes, logistics. Quantitative Study Write a plan for the procedure to be used in your study. Start by stating your hypothesis and describing how you will collect and analyze data to test your hypothesis. The Data Collection Section should include: 1. Type and size of sample, eligibility for sample; 2. Data collection methods - how, by whom, when. If survey, what will you ask? What are the ethical issues (consent or permissions) involved in your data collection and what are the limitations of your study design? Summarize your data collection plans. Qualitative Study Write a plan for the procedure to be used in your study. Start by stating your area of focus and exploration and specific research question. Describe how you will collect and analyze data to answer your research question and explore your area of interest. You should specify the qualitative approach (ethnography, etc.) and the reason for this approach. You should also describe the method of data collection: interview, focus group, observation, etc. Then specify: 1. Who will you study (who is eligible for the sample, how will they be selected) 2. Who will collect data, where will it be collected, what will be asked? How will the results be analyzed, (content analysis, thematic analysis, etc.)
