How do these nations define capitalism in relation to national political policies? Is there a relationship between economic growth and personal freedom with the two nations?
For the purpose of assurance of learning the GEPPS Research Project will receive 5 scores based on:
a. The ability of the student to conceptualize and describe the two national approaches to capitalism.
b. The appropriateness of choice for societal indicators, and correct metrics used to measure the local (UAE) and Chinese economies.
c. The recognition of socio-economic issues.
d. The comparison of political systems in the two nations and the impact on economic growth, supported by longitudinal data.
e. The ability of the student to describe the relationship between economic growth and personal freedom in the two nations.
