Use the beliefs that characterize your Option's position on the issue to create a claim paragragh. This paragraph should not identify specific policies that those who support this option seek to pursue. This should represent more of the philosophical beliefs used to espoused by those that support the policy option you were assigned. Use your claim statement as the LAST statement in the paragraph.

Claim Statement: Charter schools are a good option for families because they provide a small and supportive learning environment, the ability to adopt a specific vision, and are an outlet for students who are less privileged or simply dont fit in the public school of their district.

DIRECTIONS

*The policies/actions the government should pursue are clearly articulated
*The policies have a piece of data that is used to support it( Quotes? etc)

4. Arguments for and Against:  at least 5 for and 5 against)
*There are multiple arguments for and against the policy identified
*The arguments are consistent with the policy options position
*The arguments are well articulated
