ANSWER (dividing house work duties with family members and
the responsibilities of caring for families, faculty serve as mentors and role models helped the students to be more successful in their nursing program. Faculty members are also easy to approach.

ANSWER(The mission of the IHI Open School is to advance health care improvement and patient safety competencies in the next generation of health professionals worldwide. The students have found the Open School work to be highly engaging and helpful. The Open School modules provide a much more practical and realistic application of the quality improvement and patient safety material than what I have found in textbooks.)

It allows you to become familiar with data sources, research findings, and related information to help improve your nursing practice and patient care delivery outcomes.

This course of study will help you to learn how to design and conduct research to answer questions important to improving nursing practice and patient care delivery outcomes. After you are introduced to the basics of evidence-based practice, you will continue to implement the principles throughout your clinical experience. This will allow you to graduate with more competence and confidence to become a leader in the healing environment.
