Morrisons's 1968 by Rick Campbell
In reference to the poem:
Morrisons's 1968 by Rick Campbell In the Riviera Beach black morning where the secret cold is hidden
from tourists, where only worker and fishermen on an early mackerel tide know freezing is a South Florida word, a 17 year old boy walks to the back door of Morrison's Cafeteria. Rats scatter as he mumbles past bloody fryer boxes and through the greasy backdoor smell.
