Write a 600- to 1,050-word recommendation report.
Your recommendation report should address a problem or decision that you think needs to be made at your workplace. It should be formatted as a short business report, not an academic paper. There is no need for a table of contents, as your report will be very short. It can be written in a memo or letter format.
Think about something that needs to be improved at your workplace and make a recommendation to your boss or CEO on what change should be made, why and how it should happen. Some examples could be something that improves customer service, communication to employees, or changes to your company website.
Your Report Must Include:
Explanation of the problem or situation that needs to be changed
At least one form of research (interviews with employees, surveys, best practices from other companies in similar industries or of a similar size)
Analyze the situation and make a recommendation
Explain the steps that need to be taken to make the change
Note any barriers to making the change
